Nate Turner, born Nathaniel S. Courtney Jr., is an African-American music artist, activist, coach, educator, and entrepreneur.

Mr. Turner holds two Master of Science degrees; one in History from Florida A&M University and the other in Education from Long Island University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

As both a Social Studies and Special Education Teacher in New York City and Florida, Nate Turner has first-hand experience dealing with the systemic oppression of young, black and brown people.

The descendant of street hustlers and preachers, Nate has been honing his skills as an emcee, writer, and producer since he was a child. Turner has always known he would be a Revolutionary Rapper sent here to speak the truth.

In 2013, Turner and his late Brother and Co-CEO, Big Sci, founded Mind Grind Entertainment, Inc. To date, Mind Grind has released four mixtapes, three albums, and five EPs.
